Richbar Institute of Technical Skills (RITS) gave two units of 40” Smart TV for this year’s Brigada Eskwela last August 16, 2021 at Lagro High School.
RITS became this year’s top contributor out of 32 donors for LHS Brigada Eskwela 2021.
“Ako ay lubos nagagalak dahil ang BE sa taong ito ay matagumpay sa kabila ng matinding hamon dulot ng pandemya. Ang spirit ng bayanihan ay buhay na buhay at naipakita sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng iba't ibang sektor ng lipunan para maging matagumpay ang BE.” said Mrs. Eva Claire P. Dugang, Administrative Officer II for Senior High School.
“Those Smart TV’s will be used by different departments for their classes.” said Brigada Eskwela 2021 Coordinator, Mrs. Maria Teresa A. Isidoro.
“Makakatulong siya as visuals, maiiwasan ang paper works in terms of presentations and mas gaganahan ang mga bata kasi techno ang lesson.” said Mr. Paul Benjamin Paz, an English teacher in LHS.
Based on the Record of Donation Received noted by Lagro High School Principal, Dr. Diego M. Amid, LHS also received electronic equipment (7 SMART TV, 1 epson printer, 2 PLDT wi-fi, 1 coffee maker, 1 unit of Humidifier, 15 Lenovo Tablet, 15 SMART pocket Wi-Fi, 15 Wireless Keyboard, 15 Keyboard Stand), health kits/equipment (65 packs Assorted Health Kit, 31 gallons of alcohol, 117 boxes of facemask, 978 pieces face shield, Vitamin C 16 boxes), school supplies (200 books about accountancy, 20 posters, 9 boxes of bond paper), and other things (8 pots of plants, 25 loaves of bread, data (for 78 learners), 3 portable sink, 3 shovels, P28k yearbook, P18k worth of cash).
Those donations also came from TELSTRA, Center for Barista, Rebisco Foundation Inc., Maynilad Water Services Inc., PIPCA Eastern Metro Manila Chapter, and other school organizations together with teachers, parents, and alumni.
