SDO QC launched Work Immersion Training Center-LHS-SMAW- Calfstein last June 13, 2022, at Lagro High School.
The Local School Board, SDS, ASDS, and QCPSTA president attended the launch of the Work Immersion Center in Lagro to show their support.
LHS English journalism teacher Josephine Bonsol posted pictures taken during the launch, "Providing opportunities to thelearner is our utmost priority and we are all grateful for the Launching of Work Immersion Training Center-LHS SMAW-Calfstein today." she captioned.
Work Immersion Training Centers was SDO QC's answer to the problem of SHS graduates having problems on getting hired.
“We are strongly suggesting that Work Immersion should be implemented for the Senior High School learners as they are nearest to accomplishing their postsecondary goals and dreams,” according to DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones
“Naniniwala tayo na ang Grades 11 and 12 ay kailangang bumalik sa kanilang klase, so ‘yong immersion natin ay kasama sa babalik sa ating face to face classes." Assistant Secretary for National Academy of Sports and Field Operations Malcolm Garma shared.
The program aimed to help and train our SHS students to be more qualified and job ready.
