Grade 12 STEM students, together with Mrs. Maria Kristine Tamayo and Mr. Ravinal Ravis Jr. held the first Lagro High School - Senior High School research congress “Inno: Vision'', showcasing research studies of grade 12 students, last June 6-7, 2022 via Google Meet.

One of the event’s hosts, Shannen Manzano said that Inno: Vision is an event to inspire and motivate the aspiring student researchers of LHS by presenting their ideas and concepts discovered and investigated by grade 12 students in each strand.

"It took a village to create such a successful and fruitful event, a lot of planning, trial, and errors, and of course a 101% effort from the whole team. It was a rollercoaster ride, " said Manzano.

"I would love the next batches to experience such a wonderful and knowledgeable program. It is something that would be very helpful for themselves and their fellow batch”, she added.

One of the attendees, Leia Amrose Amba from STEM 11 -Pascal said "The research congress was fun to attend given that it offers different ideas for incoming grade 12 students like there are a lot of categories that I could choose that satisfies my interests. I learned a lot and it was fascinating to see how well it was conducted”.

“The congress was very organized for an event that was held for the first time. It was amazing to see that they are able to gather speakers from different strands and different teachers, and their evaluations and attendance were well-formulated”, Amba added.

According to Manzano, they would most likely organize this kind of event again in the next school years since it garnered a lot of positive feedback from the attendees.
